Tamale Nachos

Ingredients:

  • 4 Tucson Tamale Jalapeño and Cheese tamales
  • 1 bag of tortilla chips
  • 1 bag Mexican cheese
  • 1 cup of diced tomatoes
  • ½ cup onion
  • ½ cup black olives
  • ½ cup corn
  • Cilantro (optional)
  • Crema (optional)
  • Avocado (optional)
  • Extra jalapeños (optional)

Directions

Preheat the oven to 375 degrees. Steam 4 Tucson Tamale Jalapeño and Cheese tamales according to the package directions. Dice up and set aside. On a greased baking sheet place a layer of half the tortilla chips followed by a layer of cheese, tomatoes, onion, corn, sprinkled tamale pieces and another layer of cheese. Repeat the layering process starting with the chips again until all ingredients are used. Bake for 2-5 minutes and top off with cilantro, crema, avocado, jalapeños and your other favorite nacho toppings.
