Steam On!

General Tips:

Heat to an internal temperature of 165℉.  Tamales can be heated many different ways, but the preferred method is to steam the tamales.  

Stove Top:

 

Remove from package and leave the husks on. Place in a stovetop steamer. Steam 20 minutes for cold tamales. Steam 30 minutes for frozen tamales.

Microwave:

Remove from package and leave the husks on. Wrap in a wet paper towel. Steam 2-1/2 minutes for 2 cold tamales and 4 minutes for 2 frozen tamales. Remove husks. Enjoy!
